Indesit washing machine fault code f-03 suggests that the...

Please provide me with some help on this one...
On my Indesit WIE167UK have fault code f-03, I found that this means the element sensor / thermistor is faulty(NTC). I tested existing NTC and at room temp had 15Kohm, under cold water open circuit, hot water (40'c) 5Kohm ( same as a brand new one) these are approximate values. What else could be causing this fault? All the wiring is good and the washing machine was working well and has not have any fault previously.

I thought as much. Have you ever repaired them? I'm going to take this one's apart, been told that it can sometimes be a faulty resistor!
