I have fitted a plastic bath and have tried to tile with mosaic tiles around the edge. However, the silicon sealant that i have used must be pulling on the mosaics as i have cracks (in the grouting) between the mosaics. Are there any tricks that i can try?? |

Usually it best to tiles behind the bath and butt the bath to it,then sealant.
You can support the bottom base of the bath with built-up of timber and screws down the bath frame to make it more solid. The only way to stop movement is to fix a timber to the wall underneath the bath rim frame or make a upright frame support where the wall tiles is then before using sealant fill the bath up with water first. |
