Can anyone give advice on fixing a handle on a upvc door which has gone "limp" for want of a better word. Seems as if a spring of some sort has gone. Is it fixable and within the scope of a diy'er? Any help would be most welcome. |

Could try taking it off yourself and seeing how it works. If your patient and good with fiddly stuff you might be able to fix it?
I fixed a 'loose' window handle by taking it to bits, you'll need a selection of screwdrivers and maybe some allen keys too. At the end of the day if you wreck it at least it'll be off and you can take it to a supplier and ask for a new one. |
