AEG Oko Favorit 545i Dwasher-Info Wanted Age/Reliability Pls

Hi there - I hope someone can help me please.

We've seen the above semi-integrated machine for sale in the local paper and wondered if anyone had an idea of how old this machine is? Unfortunately the seller doesn't know as he's selling it on behalf of someone else.

Also I'd be interested in any opinions on how reliable the machine is.

its 12 years old, no, 13, , no 17, yes its 5 years old, any advances on 5?

seriously there is no way anyone can tell how old any appliance is by a picture, the best that could be hopped for is when did they stop making it, but that only tells its minimum age.

as for how reliable, wrong question, what you really need to know is how has that one been treated, as with anything in the paper, you pays your money you takes your chances

Would a bar code number tell you when it was made by the manufacter if you ring them?
I have no idea though.

Thank you both for your replies. As you said masona, there is a barcode on the machine which exactly identifies its year of manufacture - in this case 1993.
