Boiler size calculation

I understand the importance of not installing a boiler that is too large or too small. Does the too large rule change when the boiler in question is a combi.

thanks, kev; I should have mentioned that the boiler was oil. Unfortunately oil is on or off, I was concerned about the value or saving of a condensing unit being over rated to give plenty of hot water and wheather or not it would condense while not being pushed to heat. Apparently, I have found since my post, that the Grant uses two pumps, one for heating and one for water.

Even if it has two pumps, it is probably still too large for the heating needs. This is only one of the jokes about boiler sizing.
