I have an unbranded tap in the kitchen which is getting tighter and tighter to turn. I think the cartridge is identical to the grey Brev ones although it isn't marked as such. Like these:

I've taken it apart and cleaned it a couple of times and used some light grease on what I think are the relevant bits, but it doesn't seem to last long.
Does anyone with experience know whether there is anything obvious I can do or shall I buy a new cartridge? There doesn't appear to be anything missing, broken or excessively worn.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
