MCB trips when i switch lights on but not if i use an RCD

If i connect the light circuit on the RCD side of the bus bar they work great but if i connect them direct to a non protected MCB they trip? Any ideas.

Have you got the neutral in the correct neutral bar?

what trips? MCB or RCD. if RCD, youve probably got the neutral in the wrong place, as already mentioned. if MCB, then something bad is goin on...

neutral barS, you will have 2, be sure to use the correct one when swapping the MCB around.
