My son got a hold of the bottle and has spilled it on our carpet in two spots. Is there anything that will get this out???

Is this the stuff that's made from the boiled down bones of Gorillas, or the one they make for glueing gorillas together? icon_confused.gif

I take it that Gorilla is a US brand name glue. What we really need to know is what type of glue it is: PVA, superglue, latex, etc.

Whatever it is there may be another way. If the glue spots are small and resting at the top of the pile you can cut them out. I've done this lots of times with tar spots and solder splashes. The slight depression in the pile is barely visible - even if you know where to look.

i've done this with cigarette burns - scrape as much as the cr*p off as possible, then find an area that isn't noticeable and shave off some fibres (just a few from here and there - not down to the pile just so it doesn't look any different from the rest of the carpet) then glue these fibres into the *ahem* shaved hole icon_redface.gif - i've done this a number of times and if done properly you canna see em like

By the time you read this the glue will have gone off, in its liquid state it can be cleaned with acetone but once dry thats it.

Gorilla glue is a polyurethane glue for those that don't know, it is available in the UK and is one of the best PU glues although it is quite expensive.

As the others have said, cut out what you can once it is dry.
