I have a self closing chain which is attached to the door edge and the door frame.Problem is the screw plate has come off and the tension is too strong to replace
How can I do this? |

Is it this one?
If so, they normal come with a flat plate tool with a groove in the centre to do this, if you haven't got one, you can use a claw hammer to grip the chain to pull it out and carefully use a molegrip gently on the chain to take the tension off. You can also adjust the tension if you want by turning it anti-clockwise or clockwise.
Be very careful when doing this to prevent injury to your fingers __________________ Always judge a man by the way he treats someone who is of no use to him |
