Self Tan Carpet Stain
Reply with quote Thanks

Recently I had visitors stay with us, on helping with their luggage on departure I stepped onto a damp patch on the carpet, she said that she had spilt some water. A peachy coloured stain has now appeared on the cream carpet. I can only think that it is self tan lotion for the colour to have developed over time, I have tried vanish stain remover, without success. Can anyone help?

Is it a David Dickenson type shade or more of a Gloria Hunniford?

Hi,

Wondering if you had any luck removing the self-tan stain?
My daughter has stains on her carpet from self tanning lotion.
So far, no luck!

Unfortunately, no products I purchased worked, and I did try many different types. However, the saving grace is that the stain has faded over time. I would recommend to use only water to dilute the self tan, the cleaning products I purchased were expensive and didn't make any difference. Hope you can live with it until it fades. Regards Sue
