potterton 80 shutdown when shower on

Combi boiler shutdown when using shower from bath mixer tap. Does not happen when other taps or thermostatic shower is used.
Pilot light needs re-lighting.
The gas valve and thermocouple have been replaced without success.
I believe the bath mixer tap is mains pressure so could it be mains preesure backfeeding?

sounds like its cutting out on the high limit stat if the pilot is going out

if it is only locking out on the bath mixer it is that that is at fault not the boiler. the washers in the tap are expanding causing flow rate to drop overheating the boiler. re-washer taps or change if a ceramic disk mixer.
