Cooker Hood Plug Position (Chimney Type)

Hope someone can help? How far from the ceiling should the plug for a Cooker Hood (Chimney type) be fixed. Just renewing the wall covering behind cooker followed by fixing the hood (first one we've had-but not physically got it yet), not sure where the plug should be fixed. Need to know urgently, as fixing wall covering asap.

Don't you think you should wait until you have the hood, then you can offer it up and see where the best place for the socket is, given the length of the flex, how easy it will be to access, how it looks etc?
