Hi,
I have the Ariston Microgenus 23 boiler which is used for central heating and the hot water. The problem is the pilot light keeps going out resulting in no hot water. It seems to be happening more lately and none of the three engineers that have been out to look at it have any idea why it is happening and are unable to replicate the error. The first call to the manufacturer suggested it was the circuit board, the second call suggested it might be the water pressure. I have had the following replaced without any success.
Heat Exchanger
Limescale Inhibitor
Corrosion Inhibitor
Belwo are the time recently when the boiler needs resetting -
26.03.12 6.30am twice/ 11am once
27.03.12 6.30am once/ 9pm twice
28.03.12 6.30am twice
29.03.12 6.45am once/ 9pm once
30.03.12 6.40am twice/ 11am once
31.03.12 7.00pm once
01.04.12 3 times
If anyone has any ideas then this would be helpful.
Thanks
