Hi,

Just had a new toilet installed, and when the full flush is used, all the water flushes out , and there is only a small amount left in the u bend...All the internal floats are correct and it's set to 6 litre level. I've tried putting lowest amount of water in cistern but still happening.
Any ideas, or cures please?
Cheers

Get the installer back. It's his responsibility to make sure the WC is set up and working properly.

already called him, but i want to be armed with some questions on his return.

Anyone know a technicla reason this would happen?

cheers

There should be a 50mm depth of seal left to avoid smells getting back into the room from the drains.
If its not what bahco says it is possible that its installation has coincided with a blockage in the drain.
If you do have a water seal it could just be to do with the design of the pot just being not what you are used to looking at.

Slugbaby do you make a habit of gazing down the pan after an evac :?:
