Hello,

My shower waste pipe cannot run under the floor boards due to the run of the joists. My intention is to run the pipe along the wall above the floor boards (Approx length 6ft). Can you get a sufficiently high shower base to get the drop or will I need to raise it up a little. Is any drop above level sufficient?

Many thanks
Lee

If you get a shower trap with top acess- common enough in plumbers shops, you can get @ the pipework to clean it out from inside the shower. :) So fall is not so crucial then

Many thanks for the reply.

Does that mean the pipe can be level and still work?

Thanks

You will still need a slight drop or there will be water sitting in the pipe.
See if you can get a 2 inch drop over 6 foot. Might get away with slightly less. :D
