Shower cubicle - panelling over the tiles?

Howdy.

Considering using shower panelling (laminated WBP) glued over the existing tiles. Easy to fit and no leaking to worry about.

Only thing putting me off is the quality of the finish, appearance-wise. The showers in my office have this panelling and it doesn't look too classy. I assume you can get various levels of finish quality?

Has anyone fitted this stuff at home? Any do's & dont's? Really can't be arsed to do a load of tiling!

You can get a better quality panel from Norske interiors, it's called Mermaid panel and it available in a number of finishes including a limestone replica now.

Expect to pay £150 per panel.
