removing good cd from car stereo with no power!

I need to get a really good CD out of an aftermarket panasonic car stereo, without connecting it to a power supply, as it could be a while before i have a new car. Any tips? The unit has a detachable faceplate. Is there like a pin hole i should look for, like on a computer cd rom?

cant you just power it up off a car battery or a lead plugged into the ciggy lighter in someone elses car, or any 12v supply ie a universal power supply that plugs in mains that gives off 12v

There isn't normally a mechanical override in slot cd players best to try what tomy suggests above but only connect 12v to the 'backup' supply first without front on and see if the player automatically spits the cd out....
