Burning Lights....

I have replaced a ceiling rose with a 5-light pendant.

Whilst the light works, after 20mins or so there is a feint burning smell followed by flickering of the lights.

Any Ideas ? icon_cry.gif

Ideas? Yes you have a fault, if you have the test equipment and the knowledge start fault finding, if not call an electrician.

Electricity is not llike painting by numbers. It will kill, be safe not dead.

I wouldn't class flickering and giving off a burning smell as "working".

I'd class that as "something that could easily burn your house down if you don't get it sorted immediately"
