painting over uneven paint

i am currently redecorating my lounge. on removing the wallpaper, 3 out of the 4 walls has a coat of vomit inducing green gloss. during the removal of the paper we have accidently scraped some of the paint off. i hate wallpaper, but don't want the "rustic" look when i re-paint. is there a type of paint or prep. method that could save the day. please help me. cheers

Seal it first with a water based sealer...water based is better for large suface areas becuase of the fumes......then fill it sand down and re-paint

If the walls are sill a bit naughty then you may need to line them.

Dulux stain block is a reasonable sealer.
