After about 10 minutes of turning my central heating on, world war 3 takes place. I get unearthly banging in the pipes to and from the pump and the boiler keeps shutting down. Eventually it sorts itself out and runs normally until it comes on again the next morning. Any suggestions?

is there water in small tank in loft....?

do a search here, under, "blocked cold feed"

or it just might be the pump......

Check the above, if none of those, could be an air lock. Try bleeding all the points you have, rads, pump etc.
