radiators

i am wanting to take a radiator of the wall for good in a downstairs room.the pipes run up to the ceiling.i would like to cap the pipes near the cieling so perhaps i can put it back if i have to.please can you tell me how i can achieve this.thanx

1. Turn off system.
2. Turn off water to F&E cistern.
3. Drain system.
4. Cut pipes far enough away from the ceiling to fit a drain cock on each dropper.
5. Fit drain cocks.
6. Refill system.
7. Vent all rads.
8. Test.
8. Repeat step 5 until no leaks.
10. Repeat steps 1 & 2.
11. Drain enough to water to empty the F&E cistern, then drain the same amount again.
12. Add a chemical corrosion inhibitor.
13. Repeat steps 6, 7, 8.
