AEG 44450 Slimline Dishwasher - no heating

The dishwasher is 18 months old and has worked perfectly until yesterday when all the dishes came out reasonably clean, but wet. We ran it through another cycle and noticed that the water isn't heating up, everything else seems fine. Can anyone suggest a course of action?

No alternative than to call a man in. It was a broken bit of solder on the circuit board!
