Hi,

Hot Water is fine, so boiler in itself ok.
Central Heating not working, equipment is:
Drayton wireless thermostat digistat rf3+
Honeywell 2 port valve V4043H1056

Thermostat is calling for heat, batteries replaced to be sure. However no lights on receiver. Taking batts out and putting in again has 'rebooted' the system once or twice when it happened a couple of weeks ago, but now nothing. When I did this and managed to get it going before I had a single green light on the receiver.
Does this indicate the thermostat is at fault?
My hesitation to assume this is that if I manually slide the valve open, shouldn't this fire up the boiler? It doesn't, hence me being unsure which component is at fault.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,
Gary :)

Sounds like a faulty receiver ( if its getting its supply ). Probably the supply capacitor failed.

You can get heating by latching the CH valve open when its heating the HW.

The motor valves are not designed to operate the switch inside from the manual lever although sometimes they do if fully pushed.
