Welcome to the forum.
Tea can stain quite badly, I would imagine that it would be nearly impossible to remove a stain from wood one it's there. What is the wood surface that the stain is on? (i.e. door, table etc) Could you not stain it darker to hide it? What is the current finish of the wood? More info required really.
I suggest you ask this question in the decorating section, where I'm sure Zampa has some bright idea to help.
