Hi.
I currently have to pull down an extension cable every time i go into the attic.
I do have a light fitting, and know how to cable it to the switch, but What is best practice for cabling to the mains?
Should I run a spur from a junction box?

Why the mains, why not just link it to the lighting circuit? icon_confused.gif
