Just hoping for a bit of advice. Got home tonight to find that my patio doors (seems like old style UPVC) are leaking from the middle internal drainage hole. Thought it was the particularly bad weather as it has never done this before - maybe the driving rain? Have looked around the door area inside and out and there is no other issues like leaking guttering or anything else.
There seems to be a stream of water running externally at the end of one of the doors and when I opened the doors there is a metal hole at the top which is dripping water so I assume this is running across the track and then out the middle internal hole and externally down the door. The external drainage hole in the middle is not draining any water and I poked a screwdriver in there but doesn't seem to be obviously blocked.
I suppose I need to find how the water is leaking into the top track in the first place... Any ideas??? Is it possibly sealant (I can't see in this weather and dark)? Or is it normal for heavy rain to get into the tracks but it's not normal to leak through the internal drainage holes? Any help much appreciated!!!
