t joint leak

tried for 2 hours....water off ..pipe dry ..sweated off elbow of 15x15x15 T joint..cut replacement part..fluxed it ..inserted it ..would not solder..again/again/again..kept leaking..soldered loads before no problems..my brother was on about oxidization? icon_confused.gif icon_confused.gif

probably wrong flux or water still in pipe why not replace with compression joint
