u'll need to chase the wall out and bury the pipes in the wall...plaster over etc.

you might also box in the pipes and tile the box (but make the fixing screw heads accessible).
The trap may be visible, but you can get a chrome bottle trap that isn't ugly.
BTW if you use chrome pipes and run them neatly, they look smarter |
