The inlet fan has stopped drawing air as it is clogged up with dust. I can see it through the condenser hole but cant get at it. The grille on the RHS is held in with plastic clips that I cant see any way of releasing. I need to clean the fan as the cooling air is not being pumped through the condener making the cut out operate as the laundry almost boils!!

I would suggest trying to take the side panel off, then see if you can undo the clips holding it together. (disconnect mains, lid off, then side panel is normal route)

I thought of that but it gets you nowhere near the clips. In the end I had to release the clips I could get at then bite the bullet and pull it off. Worked out ok as it happens but that was not the end of my problems. But thats for another day... Fan is nice and clean now.

:( :( :( I knew there would be more to it than a clogged fan !! And there was.. Ended up replacing the front panel control PCB to fix the overheating problem
