Hello all,
The low pressure gauge is lit on my puma e80 (the pressure was low), so have topped this up to 1.5 but the light still stays lit. Ive tried adding more pressure (to over 2) and seeing if this would do anything but hasn't helped.

Any suggestions would be great as its getting bloody cold!
Thanks
Henry

Hi,
you could try to reset your boiler by switching power "off" , then "on" again.
May be you also have a "reset" function.
It should be OK then.

hi,
yeah i tried that but alas, no luck.
thanks anyway

is there a trip switch on these boilers that could get it firing it up again?

Hi again,
I am not specialist, but I don't think there is any resettable pressure switch.
Usually, these switch are "compact" contacts (one membrane activates an open-close contact somewhere on the system).
If it were an electric one, it would have been resetted when you tried it off-and-on.
You could try to find it on the boiler (on mine, it is built-in with the safety-valve) and hit it gently. May be it remained in the wrong position in spite of the pressure back to normal.
Good luck
Stan

The low pressure switch blocks up were it scews into the brass body, drain system pressure, remove p/s clean out hole in brass body and pressure switch, reaseble. May need new p/s complete as they sometimes leak after cleaning.
