Guys,

Stripping my bathroom back to bare brick as the plaster is quite old.

I was looking to dot and dab PB. Not to plaster over PB then tank then tile.
Would this be the best way to keep the walls waterproof or is there another wall covering I could use before tiling?

Thanks

Felt guilty & lazy so did a quick search, does anyone recomend using these?
Marmox 1250x600x6mm Insulated Tile Backer Boards

Thanks
Again

The Marmox appear to be pretty expensive.

Why dont you spend time Searching this forum for very similar original posts, and their informative replies?

Gents,

Been doing the research & as 2 of my bathroom walls are external facing & the construction is double brick only ( circa 1930s build) I was looking at using Marmox for them ( 40mm ) to provide some insulation & the slightly cheaper Wedi boards for the other 2 internal walls. This way I have total peace of mind regarding water ingress in the bathroom.
I would be grateful for any thoughts/experience you may have yourselves dealing with these products.

Thanks
