Hi,
I have just replaced my old Aqualisa Aquastream
which was this one:
http://www.aqualisa.co.uk/80256D500...2F680256D9B00328E45&section=customer_services

With the latest Aquastream as the old one was leaking and making a real racket.

I have used the existing hot and cold feeds which drop down from my attic into the top of the shower-these are plated copper pipes.

However, I had to cut the pipes as I couldn\\\'t get them out of the old shower. I then used Speedfit couplings and connected two new lengths of plated copper pipes to the new shower.

My question is, do I need to earth these pipes?

If I do need to earth them what do I need to do? Can I just connect an EC14 clamp to each pipe inside the shower and connect an earth cable from these to the earth cable that supplies the shower? Or do the earthing on the pipes in the attic back to the earth where my transformer is?

Any advice is much appreciated cheers
