Replacing a radiator

I\\\'m replacing a radiator with a towel rail in the bathroom. Two questions. Apart from using ptfe tape on the threads do I need to add boss green or similar to the flanged head that seats on the valve body? Secondly the sytem is 10mm copper - how far can I bend it by hand without causing kinks - can I achieve a rt angle or should I put in a rt angled joint.

Many thanks

Never bend microbore without the aid of a spring.

Whilst it may not kink, you can not keep the pipe in a circular form.

Silicon grease will asist in making a good water seal when connecting the valve body to the tail.
