changing trades with the same cscs card

Hello,
Just wondered if a person who has gained a cscs card in a particular trade. In this case bricklaying Can work as a plasterer with the same card? Or do you need a qualification in the second trade. This is of course assuming they are competent.

Most just ask for a CSCS card to be on site so when they ask for it just give them it.

If they ask you about been a bricklayer just say yes I'm both multi skilled.

Anyway on the news the other day they were saying the uk has a shortage bricklayers and were getting £1000 per week.

A mate saw something on news about Portuguese bricklayers getting £200 a day in London. Not sure that's typical.
