Hi all

Excuse me for the very basic question....

I need to change the blades on my partner's Skoda Fabia 1.2 Estate 2003. She went into Halfords and was given a set based on her Reg number. I noticed the passenger side was a bit shorter. So I checked on line and elsewhere it seems the correct set for her car has a 19" blade on the passenger side. The Halfords set has 18" on the passenger side.

So have they cocked up?

Or does it come down to that age old adage: size isn't everything?

Cheers

Max

With a car of this age, obviously the blade that is already there won't be original, so there's no real guarantee it was the right one.
Anyway, too long a blade tends to sweep outside of the screen and touch the bodywork, so that isn't any use......you can use the slightly shorter blade if that's not inconvenient, losing 1/2"'on each blade tip, of course.

Wioer blades can be an nightmare to get the correct fitting end, it could be end A, B, C, D, or even E.

Tip back they might fit them for you?
