Window wont open

Hi

I have recently moved into my house and cannot get the bathroom window to open. The window in unlocked but the handle will not pull up. Ive tried wd40 and brut force with no joy.....

Any Ideas

I will post a pic or 2 to help later tonight

assuming its d/g windows

dont forget some are push the button to open and others are push the button to lock so it might not be what your used to or indeed an odd window in your new house

If only! There aren't buttons, just the key to lock/unlock it like the rest of the windows in my house.

Could be a sticky lock or as i have seen before, a lock with a diferent key,
Worked in one "new" house and asked occupier for window lock key in one of the bedrooms, she said oh what room as we have three different keys for the windows.
Just a thought...................
