Can anyone tell me how to remove cistern cover off of a centre flush toilet. (problem getting ring around centre off).

On the Roca cistern, you will have a central push button surrounded by what looks like a chrome ring. Lever the push button upwards (being careful not to try bending it too much as it is held in place by a fragile looking plastic pin). Once removed you then put thumb down inside and grip chrome sleeve and unscrew. It will take quite a lot of turns (why I really don't know) before the sleeve comes out. Once removed then you can lift the ceramic lid off.
