i have been informed that we need to fit an internal door to our grade 1 listed flat. It must be a minimum 20 minute fire door. Does anyone know where we can purchase such doors, ideally in or around Bath / Bristol?
Thanks. |

Pretty well any large joinery company that makes doors. Any builders merchant will have a catalogue and probably have some in stock.
If it is a listed building you will have difficulty getting one to match, I suppose you could pay ££££ to have one made, or get a flat one and dress it up with some mouldings. They are very thick and heavy, and need self-closers and big ball-bearing hinges, and a frame with a big stop. |
