Hi,
I've just had a room reskimmed, and I'm going to be sticking up some coving (paper covered polystyrene), what I'd like to know is would it be detrimental, to either the skim or the coving adhesive, if it was stuck up before the skim is totally fully dry (it will have had 4 days to dry out, so should be close).
Tight schedule to keep you see!
Cheers.

If the plaster looks dry on the surface i.e. light coloured rather than the darker colour when it's still wet, then personally I would proceed and stick it up.
I wouldn't paint it for a few weeks though.

No problem.
Just thought I'd mention in case of any confusion, when I said I wouldn't paint it for a few weeks, I was refering to the plaster and not the coving.
