I have a Bosch SHX46A that is 3 years old and after washing the bottom has a layer of suds. We use the correct amount of detergent and it seems to run through the cycle. The dishes aren't as clean as they should be and there is also an odor. We have tried rinse/hold and there are still suds. This just started recently.
I checked the water inlet filter and the filters in the bottom of the dw and they are fine.
Any ideas??

Q: Have you changed your detergents recently?? Sometimes different detergents react. or has someone (for a laugh) added washing up liquid into the washer??

You could try Finish Dishwasher cleaner.....it is a liquid and you take the lid off and stick the WHOLE bottle in - no need to pour in the washer does it automatically. This will relieve the odour and give you a nice shiny new appearance.

Hope this helps
