Hair dye- vinyl flooring

Is there anyway to remove hair dye from vinyl flooring? I've tried several methods with no luck. It has "faded" the dye but not removed it.

It might be worth trying a cloth with some diluted bleach and dab away on the surface. A scourer might scratch the surface, but a strong rubbing with a bleached cloth might help a little - good luck.

Spray hairspray on the spot and let sit a minute or so before removing. I also used steel wool because a small dull patch beats a red patch on white vinyl

The best way to remove hairdye from linoleum is to use acetone.
