No hot water CH ok - Baxi 105e

H have a Baxi 105e just over a year old now.
I moved a sink today so shut down water at stop cock, switched off combi at mains. Moved sink - cut the hot & cold water pipes, reconnected it all. Went to turn the hot water on and its cold. Central heating is working fine, comes on as per timer. Can anyone help!.

Are you sure you have got the dhw and cold main connected correctly ?i.e not crossed,a simple mistake

When you open a hot water tap does the spindle on the dhw differential valve activate the micro switch ?

Hi, unfortunately i don't know much about these things, so i dont know what you are talking about.
There is a strange screeching noise coming from the combi when the hot tap is turned on. Non of the lights on the front panel flash (i think they are supposed to flash if there is a problem) The light with the symbol of a tap is off, this is usually on. The light with the symbol of a rad. is on as normal.
