I have a combination hot cylinder the one with the copper cold feed cistern sat on top.I live in 2 storey house so I have no roofspace. The problem is I cannot have an electric shower as the mains water is poor pressure/flow rate so the other alternative is a mixer shower,as I have this type of cylinder I have no head of water which means the shower would be above the cold water cistern, would I be able to take the cold connection from cistern and hot from cylinder and then pump it to the shower. Are there any complications I will come across in doing this as I have been told I need a certain head of water for the pump to switch on and also may come across airlocks
thanks in advance
