I have a kitchen sink drain into wall under the sink that is copper, it is soldered to metal which transforms into my trap and other parts (I have a double sink), which are all metal. I am changing to PVC.
What specifically do I need (name of part, glue, etc) to cut the copper at connection and put a THREADED PVC piece onto the copper so I may proceed with the PVC?

Don't know. We use ABS in the uk for waste pipes.
Why not do it properly, and unscrew everything from the sinks and replace the lot (except the sinks)? waste pipes are not important, 'til they leak, then you're really in the s***. |
