brown water coming from hot water taps

Help! brown water coming from hot water taps after draining system and replacing two leaking radiators and installing trv's :rolleyes:

I suspect your system is primatic and a air pocket dispersed whilst draining. In a day or two it should settle down and stop.

Need more info on your sytem to confirm though.
 
what imformation would you need? i can tell you that the system has 2 tanks in loft with hot water cylinder in airing cupboard with pump and a diverter valve for hot water and heating? :LOL:

not really just put in some inhibitor,there was quite a big air lock that took a while to clear. ie bleeding radiators,pump

you are peeeeeeeing up the wrong lamp marra
 
u might have disturbed muck in ur cwsc. run a load of hot water off. go and have a look at the water colour in the cold water storage cistern in the loft (the large one)

if after all this its still brown come back to us...
