I'm installing a new shower tray and would like to know what method you prefer.
To fit the shower tray top edge under wall tiles and seal.
or
Fit the tray against the tiles wall and seal?
Thanks

you can buy rubber shower trim that sits behind the tile an flush on the tray , that is always better than a silicon seal

hope this helps

I tiled to below the top of the shower tray and then butted the tray up against tiles before siliconing. Made more sense to me at the time as we were reusing the existing shower tray which was quite deep, thought it best in case we ever needed to renew it with a shallow one.

Silcone worked a treat, no leaks, but those bloody coloured soap bars my girlfriend buys have stained it over time! I keep looking at it thinking I ought to replace it, one day...
