I have a combi heating system with a 10y old vaillant that gets serviced regularly.

Recently, my radiators have been making noises and yet after bleeding them, they are still there. pressure seems fine, radiators are hot, thermostat works fine, its just the clicking/hammering noise. worst in one room.

Any ideas? :(

Clicking probably due to expansion noises from pipes touching other pipes or other materials (typically floor joists). Or could be that plastic anti friction clips on radiator brackets are not fitted correctly.

Hammering noises could be from boiler or again expansion noises.

Has any work been carried out on system prior to the noises occurring?

i had my boiler inspected in october and serviced last may. no work has been carried out on the heating system apart from regular maintence which is bleeding once a year at most and increasing pressure on boiler 3 times a year or so.

ok it was just a thought that someone may have done something incorrect to the system.
