Hi, I have a worcester combi 28cdi.the problem is that the hot water is fine when the heating is on but when it is off I can't get hot water regulary down stairs and never up stairs. and when the water is hot down stairs it is running luke warm up stairs? Even though the burners are cumming on.
I was told it could be the diverta valve but would it run hot at all if it was?
Any help would be gladly recieved, thanks

Would imagine you will find it going round the heating circuit instead because the diverter is shot. You might get away with just the diaphragm, but it's often easier to take the whole valve off and replace it.

Thanks for that.Is it possible to fit the valve myself?

as I said in your other post matey

Nope get someone in do not do this yourself as they are tricky beggars

Just wondering if a faulty pump could cause this problem. It's just that I had another pump fitted (not new) when this started and it got slightly better.
I have noticed that the pump that is on it now is really hot to touch .is this normal?
