Hi Guys

I have a washing machine with a semi rigid, ribbed waste pipe. On the end of the pipe is a robber collar and a small flap to each side.
Under my sink I have a waste pipe with two inlets for dishasher and washing machine. This has a screw cap over the inlet at the moment to stop any water coming out.
My washing machine pipe won't fit into the waste pipe under the sink.
Is there a converter I can get? Do I have to cut off the rubber collar? How is it secured into the under sink pipe?

Heeeeellllpp
My clothes may start to smell soon if I can't resolve the problem.
