Concrete - Ready-mix or DIY-mix

Hi All

Got my Foundations Dug out on the inside of Garage wall as I am Building above. Now deciding to Mix Myself or Get a ready-mix company in.

I will need about 2 cubic metres of 1:3:6.

Can you tell me if the Gravel I need will be 20mm?

What quantities will I need of each so I can Price up against a Ready-mix company? I am wanting to save as much cash as possible!

Any Help Appriciated.

UPDATE!!

Just got a quote for Ready-Mix £125 for 2 Cubic Meters.

Coming Tomorrow, can't refuse at that price against time, labour and raw mats..

Any Idea how long before block work can be safely laid on new concrete?
